IndiaWelds Synergy is the flagship event of SMICPL. It is the first and only of its kind event bringing the industry and the academia to identify the interventions needed and find solutions for the growth of the welding and manufacturing sector.
We held the 4th edition of IndiaWelds Synergy in November, 2023.
The first edition of the event, unveiled in November 21st, 2019 had the theme – “Creating Sustainable Welding Excellence through Industry – Academia Synergy.”
The event was aimed at bringing the scientific and engineering principles behind welding assimilate into the art of ‘welding’ to achieve the potential of welding as a preferred state-of-the-art manufacturing process.
IndiaWelds Synergy is a one of its kind platform where the industry gets solutions to their production issues, they learn and also give their own perspective to move towards lean manufacturing and also Industry 4.0.
On the same platform, the Academia gets an insight into how they can be industry oriented in their training, and how they can in tune with the industry prepare for Industry 4.0.
Alongside, the OEMs get a platform to present their best solutions and showcase their best practices and also get ideas to develop their future products.
IndiaWelds Synergy symbolises one of the culmination of the ethos that we carry, that is evident in our logo, our work, our belief. We must get the three factions – the Industry, Academia, Entrepreneurs together for enhancement of the welding and subsequently manufacturing sector.
The stupendous success of IndiaWelds Synergy has only reinstated the faith on our work on capacity building at individual, institutional and systemic levels.
